Today was my last day at Fitzgerald Lakeforest Automall, I've been working here for five years and I have to say that despite some bumps in the road here and there I had a pretty good time working here. As I was doing the 10 minute walk from the parts department to the parking lot (a walk that I’ve made hundreds of times by now), I felt strange seeing that view for the last time. I didn’t feel grief, but I wasn’t filled with joy either. I guess when you have had strong experiences in a workplace for a long time, you become so used to it that it becomes hard to believe you’re actually leaving it. For the record, I’ll always keep in my mind those good times I had in there.
