You've been raised by a good family under noble values. You've been taught as a child that good kids have to go to school and bring good grades. You've been told that to make it anywhere in life you have to get higher education, go to college and get a degree that will help you get a decent job and make money.

My guess is that most of you have done that in one way or another, you went to college, got a degree, have a decent job in which you spend most of your time, etc, etc. Still, sometimes you find yourself struggling to keep your head above water.

What if I told you that people who have accomplished less than half of what you have are probably twenty times richer than you are and are popular and have more time to do whatever they want?? No no, I'm not really talking about rock stars, artists, athletes or anybody like that; those people actually have talent and they reflect what they have accomplished. I'm talking about people who go out there and make a complete full out of themselves in public, now there's nothing wrong with that, please don't misinterpret me, what is wrong is that they get enormously rewarded and given opportunities people like us only dream about. Now why am I venting all these? Let's look at a couple of examples:

Now don't get me wrong, people make mistakes and do get nervous in different situations, it is normal and it can happen to anyone. But come on! doing some research on this girl I found out her name is Giosue Cazzarelli and that now she is quite a popular girl. Further, a Wikipedia search got me this: "Her video on the pageant instantly became a YouTube hit, causing all kinds of comments and editorials about beauty queens not being able to think on their feet. The fame caused by this video brought instant fame to Giosue, who was invited to several TV shows in Spain, and other countries as well. She used this situation to become a popular model for commercials and also created a line of clothing."

 As you can see, the girl that thought Confucius invented confusion is now quite successful, likely more than a few doctors or engineers of her age, actually of any age because I doubt there are a lot of 21 year old doctors and engineers.

How about this other one? very similar in nature:

If I remember correctly this girl appeared in a Wonderful Pistachios commercial some time ago, why? not sure, did she get paid good money? probably. Now you may at one time have done something great or accomplished something important and didn't get credited or recognized in any way. Well, for her response, this girl actually won the World Stupidity Award for the stupidest statement of the year. And you may think she got only negative criticism but that's not the case, some people actually praised her and even invited her to TV shows and such. (<- There I go paraphrasing her already)

The moral of this story is that no matter what people say, if its said on TV and happens to make people laugh/cry for whatever reason no matter how jackass it sounds, you may be able to get on the path to success. It's either that or these ladies are just too hot. It's sad but it seems a reality. All we can do is hope this doesn't end up becoming the rule instead of the exception, otherwise all those values we were raised under since we were kids will become...well.. useless.
